In our deepest subconscious, we may be attracted to rocks, much like our primitive attraction to fire. These elements have been an integral part of our ancestors’ evolutionary lives, so it may not be a surprise that, like a moth, we are instinctively drawn to rocks just as we are to fire.

So when it came to thinking about moulds I thought I could use a pebble, the forager in me knew this aligned with my ethos with their natural round but slightly irregular shape to mould around.

We tend to be drawn towards symmetrical, smooth and energetic things, and beach stones offer us a vision of gratitude and kindness, gentle energy and subtle approach. While the leaves reflect renewal and the ever changing cycle of life.
