Strawberry Moon
Strawberry Moon
June’s Strawberry Full Moon, peaking on the summer solstice on June 21st, is a rare celestial event that hasn't occurred since 1985. Named by Native American tribes like the Algonquin to mark the ripening of strawberries and a time of abundance, this full moon intertwines with the longest day of the year, amplifying themes of growth, transformation, and illumination. As the moon reaches its lowest position on the horizon, it symbolises a powerful moment to honour the earth's rhythms, set intentions, and celebrate both personal and spiritual growth, while embracing the new beginnings heralded by the solstice.
