Snowdrops are delicate white flowers that bloom in the cold of winter, symbolising purity, innocence, and the beauty of simplicity.

Snowdrops are often associated with the arrival of spring, symbolising renewal, hope, and the promise of new beginnings.

As they are one of the first flowers to bloom after the harshness of winter they represent resilience, growth, and optimism in the face of adversity.

In some spiritual traditions, snowdrops are seen as symbols of spiritual awakening and enlightenment, representing the emergence of inner wisdom and awareness.

The words “Not to be taken” represent “Not to be taken for granted” Trust your inner wisdom and strength.

It could also be said there is a nod to the poison bottle itself as Snowdrops are poisonous. Yes that’s right snowdrops are toxic to animals & humans if eaten. The result can be dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, and, yes, even death. Even when planting the bulbs you should be careful and wear gloves as they can cause irritation.

I planted my snowdrops so I can see them from my kitchen window happily bobbing away. I only picked two as I want them to spread for next year and I’m enjoying them in my garden for now.
