The Sunflower is part of the Helianthus Family.

It has symbolic meaning of ambition, devotion, false appearance/riches, flexibility, good luck, haughtiness, healing, homage, inspiration, loyalty, pure, pride, spiritual attainment, strength, vitality and warmth just to name a few!

It is believed by some that if you cut a Helianthus stalk at sunset while making a wish, the wish will come true before sunset the next day.
